Red Wine

Oh red wine, how we missed you. Yesterday was movie night with cheese and crackers followed by a sleepover because I didn't feel like walking the extra 7 min back to my room. Kine wasn't drunk, it just looks like it.

Magnetic Island

Kine left for the island on Monday to start her diving course, and I came after her on Tuesday. We ended up on two different beaches since we are so good at planning these things. Her days turned out to be long anyways, so Ben came along to keep me company. We watched the sunset, grilled some sausages, had a few beers, played cards and then fell asleep on the beach. The next day my little Kine showed up as a certified diver! I gave her a beer and everybody was happy.

Spring Break

After writing reports all day we headed out in the sun to play some soccer. Tomorrow it is finally spring break for exhausted students. We still have a lot of work to do, but thought we deserved a little vacation. Kine is getting her diving certificate out on Magnetic Island where we will be camping for a few days. Our plan is to sleep on the beach under the open sky, drink some beers and play some cards. A little piece of paradise before we get back to work.
