Mumford & Sons

Lucky for us, Mumford & Sons came to Townsville for a stopover on their tour! The new album "Babel" is pretty awesome, and what an AMAZING live band they are. They definitely delivered one of the best live shows I have seen with loads of talent and energy. The video is a small taste of one of my favorite songs from them (among the more calmer songs). Me, Kine, Jo and Rosie walked out of the concert hall with hearts in our eyes and a good ringing noise in our ears.

Oh, and I just found out that I don't have to do the final exam for one of my classes because I did well enough on the class tests. OH HAPPY DAYS!! Only three exams left...

Pools again? Yes

The only way we can survive the heat is by swimming in the pools all day. People should feel sorry for us..

Hello library

Spent the day in the library with the lovely Therese. Only one more test to get through on Friday before we start some hardcore studying for exams. Short update since this girl is making me go to Pilates at 7am tomorrow, so goodnight ...

Taco Thursday

Joanna invited us over for Taco's yesterday! Nice to have something different than the dining hall food at school (even though it's not thaaat bad). Me and Kine were craving norwegian chocolate buns, so we  google-translated the recipe and shopped for ingredients. The result: hard, doughy, burnt buns for desert. We still ate them though.. A friend was DJ'ing at the club, so after our dinner feast we headed over to check it out.

It's starting to get really hot outside now, so we are going over to the Riverway pools to cool off and do some reading today.

Greek festival

Today there was a greek festival over by the Riverway pools (about 30 min walking distance from our school). Greek food, greek dancing, greek yoghurt and more greek stuff. Pretty much just laid by the pools, went swimming and ate food. Another Saturday well spent..
